Kate Middleton Wears Princess Diana’s Fave Earrings
If Kate Middleton‘s new bling looks familiar to you, that’s because you’ve probably seen it before on another set of regal lobes.
The royal also known as Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been sporting a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings that belonged to the late Princess Diana.
“Now that they’re married, [Prince] William wanted her to have some of his mother’s favourite pieces,” a courtier told the U.K.’s Daily Mail.
Being the fashionista she is, Kate put her own spin on the jewels—she had the sparkly studs changed to a more modern, dainty tear-drop style.
Of course, this isn’t the first heirloom that Wills has given his ladylove. He popped the question last year with his mother’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring last year.
