Style Scene: Pick Your Purse Party With Beverly Hills Housewives
Los Angeles hit radio station KIIS FM held its 8th Annual Pick Your Purse party yesterday afternoon in the lush Wetherly Gardens at the Four Season Hotel in Beverly Hills. Winners had their pick of amazing handbags from designers like Louis Vuitton, Camilla Alves‘ Muxo, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Kooba and J.J. Winters. As if that wasn’t enough, the totes were all stuffed with fabulous prizes, such as Rihanna concert tickets, sunglasses and more. Can you say, “Jealous?!”
To top it all off, guests enjoyed manis, massages, feather hair extensions, goodies from Benefit, Footzyrolls and Sally Hershberger, and delicious treats, including a make-your-own-donut bar!
Who better to cohost the lavish affair with personality than Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Read on to see what they said about their style and much more.
Camille: My style changes. On the show, we get pretty dressed up because it’s the whole Beverly Hills, glitzy glam appeal. When we go out, it’s more sexy. Adrienne has an amazing Hervé Léger on, I have Gucci on. I mainly like to be simple, but classic. That’s more my style. At home, I’m more of a jeans-and-T-shirt kind of girl.
Adrienne: I’m classic with an edge. But I’m also a mom, so during the day, I prefer a great pair of jeans, sweats, great boots. I’m casual, but yet I can glam it up if I have to.
Camille: My style icon growing up was Audrey Hepburn! I love her wardrobe in Breakfast at Tiffany’s—it’s insane!
Adrienne: I admire Jackie O.’s style. She was always cutting-edge and classic. I also like Gwen Stefani, believe it or not. She’s got a really cool look to her. She puts it together in a funky but cool way. Madonna can still reinvent herself and change it up and have an amazing body, but still keep it fashion forward.
Adrienne: I collaborated with Charles Jourdan on a shoe line, which will be in Nordstrom in October and then international in the spring. It’s a classic line.
Camille: I love her shoes! They hosted a fashion show at our house and I saw her line—not the whole line, but some of it, and I was very impressed. They’re very hot! They’re edgy, too, and classic.
Camille: My favorite bag is by Louis Vuitton, only because it looks good and it’s functional. It’s more about function for me right now.
Adrienne: I love Charles Jourdan’s bags. They are amazing!
